Edible Holiday Centerpiece with Garlic
Jane and Sonja
Make this beautiful and edible centerpiece craft using fresh garlic for an unexpected and creative holiday arrangement.
- 6-8" planter pot
- 6 garlic heads
- floral foam
- decorative moss
- fresh cut greenery such as boxwood, evergreen
- pinecones and other embellishments, berries and Christmas picks
- hot glue gun
- knife
Cut the floral foam a bit higher than the planter pot and then place the floral foam inside trimming some of the excess foam so it fits.
Using decorative moss, cover the foam and glue it onto the foam.
Trim the long stem of the garlic heads leaving just about a 1/2″ stem.
Starting in the middle of the centerpiece, use a pen or pencil to poke a hole into the foam and insert the garlic head into the hole.
Place fresh greenery into the floral foam to fill in around the garlic.
Lastly, add some decorative planter picks, pinecones and holiday berries for a pop of color.
