Ingredients

  • Twine
  • 6 X Coffee Filters
  • Wooden Bead
  • White Pipe Cleaner
  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Gold Paint
  • Paint Brush

Instructions

  • Separate six coffee filters
  • Fold three filters into quarters and cut a hole in them.
  • Cut a length of 20 - 24 inches of twine and tie one end with a double knot.
  • Next thread the twine through the first filter and apply some glue to hold the twine.
  • Then tie another double knot and glue the twine.
  • Repeat this for two more filters.
  • Next, thread a wooden bead through the twine and then tie off the remaining twine. The excess twine can then be used for the angel's hair.
  • Next take a whit pipe cleaner and fold it in half to create the arms for the angel
  • Next take a coffee filter and fold it into quarters and cut the filter so that it will form the sleeves of the angel.
  • Glue the pipe cleaner to one side of the quartered filter and wrap the filter around the pipe cleaner, gluing each time.
  • Then take the pipe cleaner with the glued filters and glue it around the body of the angel and apply some glue.
  • To create the wings, fold two of the filters into quarters and then glue them onto the back of the angel with the folded edge facing upwards.
  • Repeat for the other wing.
  • To create hands, use smaller sized wooden beads and slide them over the pipe cleaner and glue the ends.
  • To create hair, cut some twine and fray the twine and glue to the angel's head.
  • The final step is to accentuate the edges of the sleeves and dress by applying some gold twinkle paint.
