Reverse Canvas Craft with Dried Lavender

A lovely reverse canvas craft using dried lavender and other decorative embellishments.

Ingredients
  

  • Framed canvas
  • Metal tray
  • Bunches of dried lavender flowers
  • Utility knife
  • Decoart creme wax in Deep brown
  • Decoart paint in White, Purple
  • Tissue paper
  • Mod Podge
  • Paint brushes
  • Hot glue gun

Instructions
 

  • Carefully remove the canvas from around the wood frame.
  • Paint the wooden frame using a creme wax.
  • Take a sheet of tissue paper and crinkle it and glue onto the previously cut canvas.
  • Mix purple and white paint to make a lavender purple color and gently swipe the color onto the crinkled paper.
  • Hot glue the frame over top of the canvas and cut any excess paper hanging from the sides.
  • Next, hot glue the metal tray into the middle of the canvas.
  • Arrange your dried lavender to fit inside the metal tray and hot glue to hold it in place.
  • Attach a bow to the lavender with hot glue.
