Reverse Canvas Craft with Dried Lavender
A lovely reverse canvas craft using dried lavender and other decorative embellishments.
Ingredients
- Framed canvas
- Metal tray
- Bunches of dried lavender flowers
- Utility knife
- Decoart creme wax in Deep brown
- Decoart paint in White, Purple
- Tissue paper
- Mod Podge
- Paint brushes
- Hot glue gun
Instructions
- Carefully remove the canvas from around the wood frame.
- Paint the wooden frame using a creme wax.
- Take a sheet of tissue paper and crinkle it and glue onto the previously cut canvas.
- Mix purple and white paint to make a lavender purple color and gently swipe the color onto the crinkled paper.
- Hot glue the frame over top of the canvas and cut any excess paper hanging from the sides.
- Next, hot glue the metal tray into the middle of the canvas.
- Arrange your dried lavender to fit inside the metal tray and hot glue to hold it in place.
- Attach a bow to the lavender with hot glue.
