Stencilled Fall Wall Art
Ingredients
- 1 Art Canvas 20"x20"
- 1 Basketweave Stencil 18”x18”
- Matte Metallic paint gold
- Americana Acrylics paints Midnight Blue, Lavender, Buttermilk
- Craft Twinkles paint gold
- Stencil Brush
- Fine tip paint brushes assorted sizes and tips
- 2 Flat paint brush
- Wooden lettered pallet shape such as “home”
- Hot glue gun and clear craft glue
Instructions
- Paint the surface of the canvas in Buttermilk.
- Paint the canvas edges in Midnite Blue.
- Place the stencil on top of the canvas and tape the edges in place to hold.
- Using a stencil brush, gently brush over top of the stencil to create the basketweave pattern.
- Carefully lift stencil and leave paint to dry before continuing.
- Reposition the stencil on the canvas to continue the pattern.
- To make certain areas of the basketweave pattern darker, repeat with a second coat of paint.
