Stencilled Fall Wall Art

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Art Canvas 20"x20"
  • 1 Basketweave Stencil 18”x18”
  • Matte Metallic paint gold
  • Americana Acrylics paints Midnight Blue, Lavender, Buttermilk
  • Craft Twinkles paint gold
  • Stencil Brush
  • Fine tip paint brushes assorted sizes and tips
  • 2 Flat paint brush
  • Wooden lettered pallet shape such as “home”
  • Hot glue gun and clear craft glue

Instructions
 

  • Paint the surface of the canvas in Buttermilk.
  • Paint the canvas edges in Midnite Blue.
  • Place the stencil on top of the canvas and tape the edges in place to hold.
  • Using a stencil brush, gently brush over top of the stencil to create the basketweave pattern.
  • Carefully lift stencil and leave paint to dry before continuing.
  • Reposition the stencil on the canvas to continue the pattern.
  • To make certain areas of the basketweave pattern darker, repeat with a second coat of paint.
