LOVE-ly Scrap Wood Block Valentine’s Decor
Learn to make your own Valentine's decor with these LOVE-ly Scrap Wood Blocks.
Ingredients
- 4 wooden blocks 2x6 cut to 10”9”, 8” and 6” high
- wood letters in different sizes/styles to spell LOVE
- Decoart Extreme Sheen paint in Champagne Gold,Pink Tourmaline, Rose Quartz, Ruby and Sterling Silver
- Paint brushes
- Hot glue gun and clear craft glue
- Small white ribbon
Instructions
- Paint each of the wood letters with Champagne Gold. You may need 1-2 layers to get full coverage.
- Paint the front and sides of the tallest block (10”) with Ruby.
- Paint the smallest block (6”) with Rose Quartz, second smallest (8”) with Sterling Silver, and second largest (9”) with Pink Tourmaline. Let dry completely.
- Apply the Old French Script stencil to the Sterling Silver painted wood block using Pink Tourmaline. Let dry.
- Apply the Hearts stencil to the Ruby painted wood block using Sterling Silver. Let dry.
- Glue the letters onto the wood blocks to spell LOVE.
- Add a small white ribbon above the O.
