Ingredients

  • popsicle sticks x6
  • coffee stick x1
  • Americana Acrylics in Bluegrass Green, White, Zinc, Sea Breeze
  • Americana Decor Creme Wax in white optional
  • snow spray optional
  • hot glue gun with clear glue sticks
  • paint pen in white or Sharpie
  • cutting shears

Instructions

  • Paint the surface of the popsicle sticks
  • Paint 2 in Bluegrass Green.
  • Paint 2 in Zinc.
  • Paint 2 in Sea Breeze.
  • Leave them to dry fully.
  • Paint the surface of the wooden coffee stick in white.
  • Give them a weathered look by painting over the popsicle sticks in white creme wax and rub off the excess paint.
  • Once dry, cut the popsicle sticks to 2” long, with one end cut on diagonal.
  • Sort them by color and align the sticks so that the longer points meet in the middle forming an arrow at the tip. Using a marker or paint pen, print Winter-themed words on to the popsicle sticks.
  • Turn them with the wrong side up and using a hot glue gun, glue the painted wooden coffee stick perpendicular to the craft sticks forming a miniature sign.
  • Lastly, spray them lightly with snow spray if desired.
  • Insert into planters as planter picks to enjoy all Winter long.
