Dollar Store Valentine's Day XO Sign
Using inexpensive supplies from the Dollar Store to craft a simple XO sign for Valentine's Day using a variety if wood surfaces.
Ingredients
- Wood plaque
- Paint in White, Gold Metallic, Baby Pink
- Wooden banner cut outs
- Wooden XO Letters
- Purple moss
- Hot glue gun
- Diamond dust
- Mod podge
- String
- Ribbon
- Gold paint pen
Instructions
- Paint the wood plaque and the XO letters white. Leave them to dry.
- Hot glue the moss to the inside of the plaque.
- Paint some mod podge on the XO letters and add diamond dust over top for sparkle and texture.
- Hot glue the letters to the inside of the plaque on top of the moss.
- Paint the little wooden banner cut outs pink and dip the bottom of them in gold paint. Thread them through a string. Glue the ends of the string to the sides of the plaque so the banner hangs over the XO letters.
- Add a saying to the banner cut outs using a paint pen.
