Wood Heart Cutout Wreath with an Upcycled Picture Frame

Using a thrifted picture frame to make a pretty art piece for the wall with painted wood heart cutouts.

Ingredients
  

  • Picture Frame
  • Acrylic Paints in Green Shades
  • Paint Brush
  • Wooden Hearts
  • Sand Paper
  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Mod Podge
  • Diamond Dust or glitter
  • Artificial Flowers
  • Burlap Fabric for a bow

Instructions
 

  • Paint the wooden picture frame and let it dry.
  • Paint the wooden hearts different shades of green and let it dry.
  • Take some sandpaper and slightly sand the frame for a distressed look.
  • Place a disc on the glass and using a sharpie, trace a circle around the disc.
  • Insert the glass into the frame.
  • Using the hot glue gun, glue the biggest painted wooden hearts around the circle on the glass.
  • Glue the smaller painted wooden hearts on top of every other large heart.
  • Apply some modge podge to some small hearts and then sprinkle some diamond dust and let them dry.
  • Glue the dusted painted hearts to the wreath and let dry.
  • As an option, artificial flowers can be glued to the wreath.
  • Cut some burlap and create a bow with it and using the hot glue gun, glue it to the wreath and let it dry.
