Crafting with Glow in the Dark Acrylic
Glow in the dark paint looks amazing when it is acrylic paint and black velvet fabric.
Ingredients
- Artist’s Stretched Canvas
- Black velvet fabric large enough to cover canvas artboard
- Upholstery staples
- Urban Inks Stencil
- Multi Surface Paint in Cotton ball
- Multi Surface Paint in Neon Green, Neon Yellow, Neon Orange
- Stencil brushes
Instructions
- Assemble the back velvet canvas by stretching a piece of velvet fabric around a standard artist’s canvas and stapling in place.
- Position the urban inks stencil in the upper left corner.
- Using a stencil brush, paint the stencil on to the velvet with cotton ball.
- Apply a second coat of cotton ball.
- Using a stencil brush, apply neon yellow to the stencil for the wings.
- Paint the beak in neon orange.
- Paint the eye in neon blue.
- Re-position the stencil over the other stenciled bird. Using a stencil brush,paint the wings and head in neon yellow, the feathers in neon blue,the beak in neon orange, and the eye in neon green.
