- Acrylic or chalky paint we used Rejuvenate Chalky Finish and Leaf Green acrylic paint
- Paintbrushes
- Hot Glue Gun
- Clippers
- Vase
Use a mix of whole eastern white pinecones and pinecone halves.
To make the pinecone halves, cut each pinecone in half with clippers lengthwise.
After cleaning the pinecones, paint each pinecone in yellow or green or a mix of both shades on one.
Let the paint dry and add more paint if needed for better coverage.
With a hot glue gun, glue the pinecones to the ends of the cut twigs.
Assemble all in to one large vase for the finished forsythia pinecone bouquet.
