Crafting a Fabulous Forsythia Bouquet from Pinecones

Ingredients
- Eastern white pinecones
- Cut twigs and branches approx. 15” long
- Acrylic or chalky paint we used Rejuvenate Chalky Finish and Leaf Green acrylic paint
- Paintbrushes
- Hot Glue Gun
- Clippers
- Vase
Instructions
- Use a mix of whole eastern white pinecones and pinecone halves.
- To make the pinecone halves, cut each pinecone in half with clippers lengthwise.
- After cleaning the pinecones, paint each pinecone in yellow or green or a mix of both shades on one.
- Let the paint dry and add more paint if needed for better coverage.
- With a hot glue gun, glue the pinecones to the ends of the cut twigs.
- Assemble all in to one large vase for the finished forsythia pinecone bouquet.
