Cut a piece of knit fabric and insert it into the embroidery hoop.

Freehand a heart shape outline in the center of the hoop.

Thread the needle with yarn and start at one end of the heart, poking the needle through from the back side to the front.

Working in rows, run the fur yarn across the size of the heart until the outline is covered and the heart is filled in.

Secure the yarn on the back side to keep it from pulling through. Tie a knot or add a dab of glue to hold the ends in place.

Using a paintbrush, brush the gold paint on to the wooden hoop and lightly brush over the edges of the material.

Create a small lace bow and glue it to the top of the embroidery hoop. Glue the embellishments in the center of the bow.
