Wrap and glue in a place a piece of twine or sisal rope around the outer edges of the wood cutout.

Working from the center of the heart, begin to lay the driftwood pieces across the length of the heart. If the wood pieces extend too far past, cut the ends shorter with garden cutters.

Once you’re happy with the placement, glue the individual pieces in place, press gently to help the glue set.

Next, layer in the additional coastal pieces in any pattern of your choosing. Glue the individual pieces in place, taking time to ensure the pieces are secured in place.

Lastly, glue a hello cutout over top or even leave the coastal heart without and hang to enjoy!
