Ingredients

  • Empty Liquor bottle washed and dried
  • Acrylic Paint black
  • Metallic Paint gold
  • Paint brush
  • Decorative Paper Napkin
  • Mod Podge
  • Scissors
  • EasyPress Mini with parchment paper
  • Ribbon

Instructions

  • Cover the label on the bottle with a coat of paint. We used black since the bottle was also black as well as the base of the paper napkin.
  • Once dry, apply a coat of Mod Podge over top of the bottle in the area you plan to cover with decoupage.
  • Remove all extra plies from the napkin leaving just the printed ply for pressing on to the bottle. For best adhesion, apply heat with the EasyPress Mini protecting the top layer with parchment paper.
  • Trim away the excess unglued portion of the napkin.
  • With excess plies, twist and crinkle into long branch-like shapes.
  • Glue them onto the label and allow the glue to dry.
  • Lastly, dab on metallic gold paint over the bottle to create an aged look.
  • Wrap a piece of ribbon over the stem of the bottle to complete the craft.
