Unique DIY Succulent Planter Upcycling Craft

Create a unique DIY succulent planter with our fun upcycling craft. We'll show you how to upcycle a wheel barrow into a lovely plant display.

Ingredients
  

  • Wooden wheelbarrow we got ours from the thrift store
  • Decorative paper napkins
  • Chalky white paint
  • Paintbrushes
  • Decoupage or Mod Podge
  • Succulents and rocks
  • Chalky Couture materials

Instructions
 

  • Start by painting your wooden wheelbarrow with white chalky paint and letting it dry.
  • Peel the ply off the napkins and cut down to size.
  • Brush a layer of Decoupage or Mod Podge onto the wheelbarrow and press the napkin on top. Gently press the paper napkin down to make sure the surface is covered.
  • Once dry add a bit of wax on the surface and then place the Chalky Couture stencil on top and press gently into the wax. Next, take your paste and spread it over the stencil. Remove the stencil and let dry.
  • Next, line the wheelbarrow with plastic.
  • Fill with rocks, soil and your succulents.
