Ingredients

  • Bow
  • Love phrase
  • Paint in black, white, pink, gold
  • Feather
  • Wood plaque
  • Paint brush
  • Diamond dust or glitter
  • Sealer
  • Corrugated cardboard
  • Scissors
  • Hot glue gun

Instructions

  • Paint your wood plaque white for the base and paint the sides of the plaque in pink.
  • While drying, start cutting out your heart template using just some scrap paper. Then use that template to cut out the cardboard heart, painting it a gold metallic color.
  • Using masking tape, block off the background creating a stripped pattern. Paint the white sections in black.
  • After the black paint is dry, add some mod podge and our diamond dust over top.
  • Glue your cardboard heart to the center adding "love" lettering on top.
  • Add extra embellishments such as a bow and feather if desired.
