How to Craft a Lovely Cardboard Heart Sign
Using currogated cardboard to make a pretty heart sign for Valentine's Day.
Ingredients
- Bow
- Love phrase
- Paint in black, white, pink, gold
- Feather
- Wood plaque
- Paint brush
- Diamond dust or glitter
- Sealer
- Corrugated cardboard
- Scissors
- Hot glue gun
Instructions
- Paint your wood plaque white for the base and paint the sides of the plaque in pink.
- While drying, start cutting out your heart template using just some scrap paper. Then use that template to cut out the cardboard heart, painting it a gold metallic color.
- Using masking tape, block off the background creating a stripped pattern. Paint the white sections in black.
- After the black paint is dry, add some mod podge and our diamond dust over top.
- Glue your cardboard heart to the center adding "love" lettering on top.
- Add extra embellishments such as a bow and feather if desired.
