Ingredients

  • Clothespins natural wood
  • Small pinecones cut in half to make “pinecone flowers”
  • Acrylic paint in any color of your choosing shades of pink mixed with white
  • Paintbrush
  • Hot glue gun
  • Decorative bow ¼” wide - ½” wide

Instructions

  • Prepare the pinecones for crafting
  • Once cleaned, use gardening shears to trim off the top half of the pinecone leaving just the lower half. This lower half will resemble a flower.
  • Using a fine tip paint brush, add paint to the petals of the pinecone flower. Leave the center of the pinecone unfinished. Mix a few different shades of pink to repeat for other pinecone flowers.
  • Preheat glue gun and then secure the underside of the pinecone flower to the clothespin. Leave enough room at the top for a pretied decorative bow.
