DIY Dollar Tree Christmas Decoration
Turning a Dollar Tree gold charger plate into a simple yet beautiful Christmas decoration.
Ingredients
- Gold charger plate we got ours from Dollar Tree
- Printed paper napkin Grab yours from Ninny’s Napkins
- Decoupage glue or Mod Podge
- White paint
- Paintbrushes
- Diamond dust
- Faux greenery
- Bells berries or other embellishments
- Hot glue
- Mini iron
Instructions
Decoupaging the Napkin
- Brush on a coat of white paint on to the inside of the charger plate.
- Take some Mod Podge or Decoupage and brush it over the painted part of the charger plate.
- Place the paper napkin on top of the glued area and gently press down with your fingers.
- Place a piece of parchment paper over the glued napkin and take your heated iron and gently rub back and forth.
Finishing Touches for Your Dollar Tree Christmas Decoration
- Apply some additional glue along the napkin edge.
- Add some diamond dust over the glue. Shake off any excess and let it dry.
- Finally hot glue some faux greenery, bells, and other embellishments onto the charger plate.
