Easy to Make Owl Painted Rocks
Sharing a step by step tutorial for turning simple rocks and pebbles into adorable painted owls.
Ingredients
- Small smooth stones
- Acrylic paint in black, white, orange
- Fine point paint brush
Instructions
- Mix a bit of black paint into some white to create a light grey. Paint the rocks with the light grey and let dry.
- Create a darker shade of grey and paint wings on the sides of the stones. Let dry.
- Paint two large white circles for eyes. Let dry.
- Add two black dots in the eyes (a bit towards the center). With the back of the brush add a couple of white spots to the top right of each eye.
- Add a little diamonds shaped orange beak and small orange ovals for feet.
- Use a darker shade of grey to add lines to wings and small ears to top of the head.
