Valentine’s Day Charger Plate Craft
Easily transform an ordinary charger plate into a beautiful Valentine's Day-themed masterpiece.
Ingredients
- Charger plate
- Wood heart sign
- Love sign
- Cardboard
- Chalky paint in red and white
- Paintbrushes
- Elmers glue
- Hot glue
- Ribbon and other embellishments
Instructions
- Paint the charger with white paint. Let dry completely.
- Paint a generous coat of school glue onto the charger. Let dry until TACKY.
- While the glue is still tacky, brush the red paint color over it.
- Allow the paint to air dry, or use an air gun to speed up the drying.
- Cut a circle out of the cardboard and dry brush a bit of white paint over it.
- Let the paint and glue dry completely.
- Next, hot glue your wood heart, cardboard and love sign onto the charger plate.
- Add any embellishments and your Valentine’s Day charger plate is done!
