If you want a quick craft, this may be the one for you. This simple scrap wood gnome craft did not take long at all, and was used with mostly upcycled and repurposed items. We’d call that a win-win!

Scrap Wood Gnome Craft

I was scrummaging around my craft room when I found a scrap piece of wood that my father-in-law gave me a while ago. Before I was going to make a Christmas house out of it, but after looking at the piece of wood for some time I decided it would be a great piece of scrap wood to make a gnome instead!

When using decorative paper napkins, you can decide to “dress” your gnome hat however you’d like. That’s the fun of it! We actually have a whole napkin bundle here. I had my viewers vote on which napkin to do for our scrap wood gnome- it ended up being 50/50. As you can see in the pictures, we used both!

Paint in red and white
Paint brushes
Mod Podge
Fluffy fur fabric
Mini iron (we use our Cricut EasyPress Mini)
Sand paper
Wood bead
Hot glue gun
Embellishments such as greenery and small bells.
