Fall-Themed Coloring Sheet

There is so much to love about Fall, everything from the pumpkins and squashes, to the cooler nights, colorful leaves and warm apple pies!

Truthfully, I could go on and on and on. The one (and maybe only) downside to Fall, is that it leads into a cold, long Winter (…although that could just be the case here in Ontario, Canada!).

So until that happens, I’ll be savoring everything that is Fall-related. To do the same, start by grabbing this free printable I Love Fall coloring sheet here. Print it onto an 8.5×11 sheet of paper, grab your pencil crayons, markers or crayons and enjoy!

  1. Good times for the kiddos, Jane and Sonja! And I love your other coloring printables, too! You could have a lot of fun coloring them in with Cricut Infusible ink pens and transferring them to t-shirts and totes!

    1. I like your thinking, Greg! We actually did have the kids draw some pictures (Minecraft stuff 🙂 ) that we traced out in Infusible Ink markers and applied them on to their pencil cases with the EasyPress. They turned out great!

  2. Fall is my favorite season! The cool fresh air, whirling leaves and just the scent of Fall. Mostly, the beautiful colored leaves!

  3. I get your newsletter in my email, and the one that came today included a request for a response about crafting with kids. It hit home with me b/c crafting with kids in a children’s hospital is all I’ve done for the last 20 years.
Regarding kids and crafting, while I do not know the specifics of your situation,i.e ages and number of kids, I am wondering about that phrase “keep them on task”. My first thought is that perhaps you should let someone else tap in. A designated crafter, if you will. Unless this is about some kind of homework assignment with a hard deadline why would you ever think there was a need to stay on task? For one thing, crafting should never feel like a task for anyone, no matter what age. And with littles the absolute ONLY thing that matters is the process. Not the product. A crafting session is about improvisational stream of consciousness exploration. The mind wanders and so do your fingers. Especially for the littlest kids. Developing fine motor skills, color sense and style preferences all happen- inevitably – eventually- through doing. And when somebody- inevitably- eventually-glues themself to a table you get some warm water and learn all about how to un glue yourself from a table. It’s good to know how glue works. And when somebody else slips and gets black Sharpie on a beloved pale pink sweatshirt ( after the first freak out,teary,borderline-hysteria, response ) you learn about embroidering a butterfly over the splotch. Because yeah, permanent means exactly what you think it means. There are no wrong experiences. Just new ones. No one should craft because they have to, and that includes you. If you don’t enjoy it, but the kids do, delegate. And don’t overthink it. Not everyone has to like the same things.
