A silver platter craft is a wonderful way to take an old silver platter (from the thrift store or cheaper version from the dollar store) and upcycle it into something completely new!

Dollar Store Silver Platter Craft
This type of craft can be done with any silver you have. Many dollar stores have silver platters, but you can easily find some at a local thrift store too!
I personally love this silver platter craft because we have the “thankful” wood cut out, but the background makes it so it doesn’t just have to be for fall. There are many “thankful” crafts that are purposefully made for the fall or Thanksgiving time, but we can be thankful year-round, right?

By doing this craft with decorative napkins, you can make your background anything that you hope for. You can choose to make it match your house, or grab a decorative napkin that would turn it into a great gift for a friend. The possibilities are endless!

Isn’t it amazing what you can do with an old silver platter and some decorative napkins? We love it! The best part about this silver platter craft is that you can make many of them, all with different backgrounds, and have them saved just in case you need a last-minute gift. How cool is that?
