If you are looking for the perfect scarecrow craft, this is one that is sure to bring delight! We are using driftwood to make this craft truly unique and not look like every other scarecrow craft!
A Fun & Unique Scarecrow Craft
If you’ve been here before, you know that we are obsessed with creating crafts with materials from thrift stores, dollar stores, and any type of recycling or upcycling. The craft we have today is using a silver platter that was only $4.99 at a thrift store!
The goal of this craft is to get a fun mix of rustic and glam. I’m not sure if they have a word for that yet, but there should be! It is great to have an autumn vibe of rustic crafts, but adding some glam to your house is always a nice touch! Adding the fall “pop” can really grab attention in a good way. Check out below how we incorporate driftwood into this craft.

How to Make a Creative Scarecrow Craft using Driftwood
I shared the tutorial for making this scarecrow craft on a recent Facebook Live which you can catch here. All of the step-by-step instructions can be found in the video.
And just for the fun of it, we nicknamed these two scarecrows Ivan and Branka after our parents. Similar to our other driftwood scarecrow below, that we named “Autumn Jane”! If you can’t have fun crafting, then what’s the point 🙂
