Halloween Button Art Ghost Craft
There’s something wonderfully charming about crafting with buttons. They’re small, simple, and usually tucked away in a jar or drawer just waiting for a project. With Halloween on the horizon, let’s transform some buttons into an adorable ghost craft.

This Halloween button craft is all about creating a playful little ghost out of white buttons, layered and arranged in creative ways. It’s easy to make, doesn’t require a ton of supplies, and is perfect if you’re looking for a Halloween project that feels more fun than frightening.
Whether you want to decorate your home with handmade touches, make something with the kids, or just sit down with a relaxing craft, this cute ghost craft checks all the boxes.
Why You Will Love This Halloween Craft
This project is quick to set up and works with supplies you probably already have on hand. Buttons, cardstock or canvas, some glue, and a couple of markers are all you need. The end result looks polished and unique—something you can display on your mantle, hang on the wall, or even gift as a little handmade Halloween decoration.

It’s also highly customizable: add little eyes with paint, use glitter glue for an extra sparkle, or frame your ghost art for a more finished look. Best of all, it’s simple enough for beginners but still creative enough to spark joy for seasoned crafters.
How You Can Adapt to Make a Family of Ghosts
Once you’ve made one button ghost, you’ll quickly see how much fun it is to build on the idea. Instead of stopping with a single design, you can create a whole ghost family.

- Add bow ties, little hats, or even painted-on accessories if you want to make them more whimsical.
- You could also place your ghost family on a background that ties into Halloween —perhaps a painted night sky, a pumpkin patch, or a haunted house silhouette.
