If you’ve been following us here at Sustain My Craft Habit for a little while you’ll know that we LOVE our coastal style! We’re blessed to have a family cottage near Lake Huron in Ontario, Canada and derive so much inspiration from the water, sand and sunshine. Today we’re so happy to be able to introduce you to eight of our coastal style home blogging friends who we think you will love!
Coastal Home Bloggers to get to Know
Now that many of us are home and spending more time online, it’s a great opportunity to make connections and discover other like-minded people.
When our friend Jenna at Rain on a Tin Roof (you have to check out her modern eclectic style) suggested we write a blog post about some of our favorite bloggers in our niche, we couldn’t resist!
Over the past few years, as coastal-style bloggers ourselves, we’ve been fortunate to meet other creative women who share our love of the water, shoreline and nature.
We encourage you to visit each of the home bloggers below, leave a comment on one of their posts and even follow them on Facebook or Instagram. They’re sure to fill your life with beachy, bright and inspiring coastal-style goodness.
So let’s get started (in no particular order)!
Lisa at Shine Your Light
Based in Massachusetts, Lisa is mom to three high school/college aged kids. She shares home improvement tutorials, fun and personal art projects, simple and affordable interior design ideas, as well as the occasion food and drink recipe and ideas for entertaining.
It’s so nice to grab a hot coffee and stroll through Lisa’s blog. From the makeover of her backyard patio, to the tour of her light and bright kitchen and even her elegant silverware box makeover it’s all absolute eye-candy!

Carrie is a master DIYer who shares our love of decorating, creating and repurposing. Based in the US she is mom to two fun-loving boys and is continuously updating her 1970’s home with her husband.
