How to Make a Dollar Tree Christmas Pedestal

Start by painting the inside and outside of your wood tray with white paint and let dry.

Apply a thin layer of Decoupage glue or Mod Podge on the inside of the wood tray. Wait for the glue to slightly dry. In the meantime, separate your napkin layers keeping just the top printed layer and discarding the other ply.

Gently place your napkin on the inside of the wood tray and press down with your fingers. Cut any excess napkin.

Next, apply a thin layer of Decoupage glue or Mod Podge on the outside of the wood tray.

Place another napkin on the outside. Place a piece of parchment paper over top of the glued napkin and take your heated iron and gently rub back and forth.

Remove any excess napkin from the edges by rubbing with a piece of sand paper or a sanding block

Add a bit more glue onto the edges of the wood tray and sprinkle silver glitter on top.

Finally, glue the wood tray on top of the silver candle holder with a bit of Gorilla and hot glue.

  • Silver pillar candle holder
  • Decorative paper napkins
  • White paint
  • Paintbrushes
  • Decoupage glue or Mod Podge
  • Silver glitter
  • Hot glue and Gorilla glue

Instructions
 

  • Start by painting the inside and outside of your wood tray with white paint and let dry.
