How to Press Flowers
You don’t need fancy tools to press flowers:
- Pick your favourite flowers at their peak bloom. Smaller, flatter blooms work best and avoid collecting on a particularly wet day (ie. after a rainfall.
- Place them on an absorbant paper (paper towels or parchment paper) so that they’re not overlapping. Don’t overfill the paper.
- Cover with another peice of paper and then place a heavy book on top. Let them dry for a 5-8 days. Small, thin flowers will dry faster than large, thick ones.
