Materials need to make this XO Spring Flower Wall Decor

Craft materials that include scissors, pen, utility knife, wire cutters, glue gun, ribbon, cardboard, eucalyptus and floral bunches.

Making this Spring Wall Hanging Decor

Preparing the XO template

Start by tracing an X and O onto thick cardboard. They don’t have to be perfect and you can size them to your liking. Mine were each about 12″ long and 8″ wide.

Using a ruler and [encil to trace the letter X onto cardboard.

Cut out the cardboard letters.

Paint the letters white and let dry.

Painting the cut out cardboard letter O with white paint.

Preparing the faux florals

Separate the florals and eucalyptus into smaller sections. I kept the white flowers for the X and the pink ones for the O.

Using wire snippers to separate the pink and white floral bunch.

Assembling the Spring Wall Decor

Start by evenly arranging sections of the flowers onto the letter O and glue in place with hot glue.

Using a hot glue gun to glue flowers onto the white painted cardboard letter O.

Next go around and fill in with bits of eucalyptus. Continue filling up the O with the flowers and leaves until it’s nice and full.

Repeat with the white flowers for the letter X.

Finishing

Cut a section of ribbon 12 inches long and glue onto the back of the X.

Adding hot glue to the end of a plaid pink ribbon.

Next, cut two sections of ribbon 6 inches long and glue to the back of the X and O, connecting them together.

Hang up your new wall decor and enjoy!
