Have you ever walked through Dollar Tree and wondered how to transform those simple craft supplies into something spectacular? Well these charming decoupage hearts will add a personal touch to your home decor and we’ll show you exactly how to create your own.

Why You’ll Love Crafting Decoupage Hearts
Creating a decoupage heart isn’t just about the end result – it’s about the journey of transforming simple materials into something meaningful. This project is perfect for crafters of all skill levels, from beginners to experienced DIY enthusiasts. The best part? You’ll only spend a few dollars on supplies, but the result looks like it came from a boutique home decor store.
The versatility of this project means you can customize it to match any decor style.

Can I Use Other Shapes for This Craft?
Absolutely! While hearts make perfect decor pieces for Valentine’s Day or romantic settings, the iron-on decoupage technique works beautifully with any shape you can find at Dollar Tree or other craft store. Consider these alternatives:
- Stars make stunning holiday decorations or year-round accents for a celestial-themed room;
- Butterflies can bring a touch of spring to any space;
- Circles create modern, minimalist wall art;
- Letters are fantastic for personalizing a child’s room or creating custom name displays.
The key is choosing a shape with enough surface area to showcase your chosen papers or tissues. Remember that simpler shapes are easier for beginners, while more complex designs might require additional patience and precision.
