Upcycled Serving Tray with Decoupage

Why buy a brand new serving tray when you can create an upcycled serving tray? It’s fun to repurpose and you can help the environment by reusing!

What is an upcycled serving tray?

Want to have a beautiful serving tray without buying an expensive one? Repurpose an old one through upcycling and get a beautiful tray that everyone will ask about!

Buying a wood tray is easier than you think. It is very often that the dollar stores have them. Up here in Canada we have Dollarama and they tend to have wood trays all the time. However, if your local dollar store does not carry a wood tray, try the thrift shop second. You’ll always be surprised by what you find there!

Once you secure your wood tray, there is not much left to do but decoupage! Decoupage is a great part of upcycling because you can take something simple as decorative napkins or pretty paper and turn it into something brand new. Join us as we work on an upcycled serving tray!
