Adorable Felt No-Sew Sloth Craft

Lately we’ve been finding ourselves drawn to these gentle, low-energy creatures so it’s only fitting that we create a sloth craft to go along with our little obsession.

Finished felt no-sew sloth craft with one sleeping sloth and one hanging sloth.

Cute No-Sew Felt Sloth Ornaments

These DIY felt ornaments are not only adorable for the holidays but I have my sleepy sloth ornament hanging on my bedroom door all year round. Although once Christmas comes along I may just add a little Santa hat to each sloth.

If you enjoy felt crafts as much as we do, you should check out these no-sew felt creations:

Assembling No-Sew Felt Sloth Ornaments

Instructions are the same for the sleeping sloth and the hanging sloth. Start by printing off sloth template on 8.5 x 11 sheets of paper.

Using fabric scissors, cut out all the pattern pieces in desired felt colors.

Cutting out sloth shapes from felt fabric.

Using a hot glue gun, glue the facial features and sloth nails to the top felt piece.

Cut a piece of twine for hanging the sloth. Fold the twine in half and glue the ends to the top of the felt piece.

Place the front piece on top of the back piece and glue them together leaving a 2” gap opening for stuffing the badding.

Insert bits of badding into the sloth.

Glue the remaining open edges of the sloth closed. For the detailed step by step instructions and for the sloth template pattern, visit our Etsy shop.
