Remove any labels and thoroughly wash your jar with soap and hot water and let dry completely before using.

Cover the jar with the masking tape leaving the middle showing. Also, tape the middle where the belt buckle will be.

Paint the middle of the jar with black paint and let dry.

Pour out a bunch of silver glitter on your working surface. Add Mod Podge to the black section of the jar and roll the glass jar over the silver glitter until it is covered. Repeat this all the way around the jar and let dry before moving on to the next step.

Remove the masking tape and add Mod Podge to the uncovered glass, working in small sections.

Sprinkle the red glitter until the rest of your jar is fully covered.

Next, remove the tape that forms the buckle, add Mod Podge and carefully sprinkle the area with gold glitter.

Once everything is dry, wrap some red and white baker’s twine and embellishments to the top of the jar.

You can also add twinkle lights or a battery operated candle to light up your Santa jar. Doesn’t it look pretty all lit up?
