Romantic Glittering Wedding Table Decorations

Although it’s been years since I’ve planned my wedding, I do remember all the creative ways I DIYed through my special day. From making my own wedding invitations to sewing dresses for my maid of honor and all the decorations for the hall, with some effort and little cost I was able to make my wedding day elegant and personal without spending a fortune.

Adding touches of glitter to wedding table decorations is a simple way to incorporate pops of color and some sparkle. For the frame, I used Galaxy Glitter paint from Decoart and paired it with a beachy turquoise acrylic paint. With an enormous selection of acrylic paint colors, there’s undoubtedly one to match your wedding color scheme. And for a more subtle glitter effect, I used only the Galaxy Glitter in a gold color over the glass votive holders.

Instructions for Making a Glittering Table Number Picture Frame:

Remove the picture and glass insert from the frame and put aside until later.

Paint the picture frame using Decoart Americana Acrylics in desert turquoise and leave it to dry fully before continuing.

Once dry, apply another coat of paint and then repeat as needed to achieve desired coverage. It’s best to allow paint to dry fully before moving on to the next steps.

Shake the bottle of Galaxy Glitter well before painting. Apply one thick layer of Galaxy Glitter paint in aqua meteor over top of the painted picture frame.
