You can catch the how to video on our Sustain My Craft Habit YouTube channel (coming soon) or keep reading for the photo instructions below.
Painting the Board
Paint your wooden cutting board with the dark grey color and let dry completely.

Paint a generous coat of school glue onto the cutting board and let dry until TACKY. Then brush the white paint over it.

As the paint dries, the crackle finish will form.

Painting the Dragon Fly
Paint the body of your dragon fly with the dark grey paint.

Next, paint the wings while alternating the different colors.

Making the Ribbon Bow
Place the wider pieces of ribbon at the back, forming an X shape. Then, place one piece of ribbon across.

Continue this until you’ve gotten the desired amount of ribbons to form your bow.

Pinch the center of the ribbons together and tie with another piece of ribbon or twine. Hot glue an embellishment into the middle.

Putting the Dragon Fly Sign Together
Hot glue the dragon fly, ribbon bow and any other embellishments onto the cutting board.

Additionally, you can add diamond dust to the body of the dragon fly.

That’s all there is to it! An adorable dragonfly craft full of sparkle and whimsy! What color will you paint your dragonfly?
