With Halloween just around the corner, what better way to celebrate than by creating your very own candy corn-inspired clay pot craft that will bring a touch of whimsy to any space.

The great thing about this is it’s an easy project that even a beginner crafter can make. Plus, you only need a few inexpensive craft supplies that you can find at most craft stores. So grab your paintbrushes and let’s get crafting! You will want to make more than one of these cuties!

Materials needed to make a candy corn craft with clay pots, paint, paintbrushes and ribbon.

How to Make a Candy Corn Craft with Clay Pots

Paint the outside of the clay pot and saucer with white paint and let dry.

Paint the middle of the clay pot with orange paint. You can freehand this or use tape for a more even line.

Next, paint the rim of the clay pot with yellow paint.

Also paint the saucer with yellow paint.

Hot glue a wooden bead on top of the saucer to resemble a lid.

Attaching a wood bead onto the painted saucer.

Wrap ribbon around the wood bead.

Adding a ribbon bow to the wood bead.

Fill your clay pots with candy and enjoy!

  • Paint in white, orange, yellow

  • Wood beads
  • Raffia ribbon
  • Hot glue

Instructions
