  • Shallow pan
  • White copy paper
  • Brewed coffee grinds or steeped tea

How to Make Paper Look Old with Coffee

Brew your coffee or steep your tea and let cool. Fill a shallow pan with the cooled coffee (or steeped tea).

Place your paper into the pan and press gently so that the coffee covers the entire surface.

Leave the paper in the coffee for a couple minutes and then remove and dry on a rack or paper towels.

You can also add coffee grounds to the wet paper for a bit of texture.

For additional aging effects, you can crumple the paper lightly or scrunch it up to create creases and wrinkles before placing the paper into the coffee.

And that’s it! You just need to let your paper fully dry before using it for crafting.
